Ernst & Young LLP (EY US) has announced the winners of its 2025 Entrepreneur Of The Year® Florida Award, with South Florida business leaders making a particularly strong showing. Six of the ten honorees hail from the South Florida region.
The annual program, now in its 40th year, honors founders and executives whose companies demonstrate significant growth, innovation, and impact. Winners were chosen by an independent panel of past award recipients, CEOs, and regional business leaders. Selection criteria included long term value creation, entrepreneurial spirit, and a purpose driven approach.

South Florida winners span industries including regenerative medicine, enterprise mobility, travel tech, and insurance:
- Ernesto Aguilar, Ardurra (Miami) – Engineering and consulting services
- Jason Matuszewski, BioStem Technologies (Pompano Beach) – Regenerative medicine
- Tim Hentschel and John Prince, HotelPlanner.com (West Palm Beach) – Group travel and hotel booking
- Robert Morcos, Social Mobile (Hollywood) – Enterprise mobility and device management
- Ivan Herrera Sr., Univista Insurance (Miami) – Insurance services for Hispanic markets
Also recognized were leaders from across the state:
- Raj Toleti, Andor Health (Orlando) – Healthcare AI platform
- Dr. Bill Kerr, Avalon Healthcare Solutions (Tampa) – Lab benefit management
- Don Wenner, DLP Capital (St. Augustine) – Real estate investment firm
- Paul Toomey, Geographic Solutions (Palm Harbor) – Workforce and labor market software
These regional winners now advance to the national Entrepreneur Of The Year® competition, to be held this November at EY’s Strategic Growth Forum, one of the country’s premier gatherings of high growth companies. The national winner will represent the U.S. at the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year® competition in June 2026.
