Unreal, but True: Miami Coworking Hub Lets You Pay in Mangos

Only in the 305 could a coworking space give new meaning to “fruitful business“. This June, The Hub @ Office Logic, a startup-focused coworking haven at 1501 Biscayne Blvd, Suite 501, is making headlines with its tongue-in-cheek “Mango Payment Program” Pitching into the city’s mango mania, founder Noelle Jackson is trading day passes for five mangoes, whether backyard-grown or “borrowed” (probably not literally) – no credit card needed.

Bring ’em in. We don’t care if they’re from your grandma’s backyard or stolen from your neighbor’s tree (ok maybe don’t do that)… Drop off 5 juicy mangoes and walk out with a FREE Day Pass

It’s a clever twist on farm-to-table, call it “orchard-to-office“. And it plays into Miami’s tropical DNA: summertime here isn’t complete without the annual mango festivals, backyard fruit swaps, and mango infused everything from pastelitos to poke bowls. Businesses are embracing this abundance, some local restaurants even accept mangos as full-fledged currency this month.

The Hub @ Office Logic itself is already solidifying its reputation as a nexus for South Florida founders. Since its January 2023 debut, the space has become a launchpad for local tech and startup talent, offering coworking desks, private offices, podcast studios, and curated founder programming . Reviews boast its “cozy, aestheticvibe, event-rich calendar, and the founder Noelle Jackson’s commitment as both host and mentor.

But this mango stunt adds another layer: a community building twist that’s low stakes for The Hub @ Office Logic but high fun for users. It taps into nostalgia, local pride, and of course, you can’t resist a free day in a tropical workspace if you’ve got the fruit.
