Fibernow Names Telecom Veteran Dexter Cartwright as CFO to Power Next Growth Phase

Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Coral Springs, Fibernow, a rising player in Florida’s fiber broadband and cloud communications market, has appointed telecom veteran Dexter Cartwright as Chief Financial Officer, a move signaling the company’s intention to double down on financial discipline and operational scale as it expands statewide.

Cartwright, a 30-year industry leader with deep operational and M&A experience, steps into the CFO role amid Fibernow’s ongoing push to grow its residential and commercial footprint. The South Coral Gables based company, which rebranded from OpticalTel and is backed by digital infrastructure investor DigitalBridge, delivers high-speed fiber internet, cloud video, and digital voice services across the region.

This is a defining milestone for Fibernow. Dexter brings decades of experience and a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry. His strategic vision and financial leadership will be instrumental as we scale the business.

said Luis Rodriguez, CEO of Fibernow.

Cartwright most recently served as CFO and Chief Strategy Officer at South Reach Networks, a Florida based fiber infrastructure firm. His resume also includes executive roles at Cable & Wireless and Bahamas Telecommunications Company. Over his career, he’s overseen more than $1.5 billion in capital investments, including key contributions to the ARCOS-1 Submarine Network and extensive fiber builds across the Americas.

I’m excited to join Fibernow at such a transformative moment. The company’s mission and culture of innovation align perfectly with my passion for scaling telecom infrastructure.

said Dexter Cartwright.

The appointment reflects a broader C-suite strengthening strategy at Fibernow, which is positioning itself as a regional contender in fiber broadband, a space heating up as demand for gigabit connectivity and enterprise grade infrastructure continues to surge across Florida.
