FAU's Executive Education Program Ranked #1 in Florida for Third Year Running

Florida Atlantic University‘s Executive Education program has clinched the #1 spot in Florida for the third consecutive year, according to the Financial Times, a ranking widely considered the gold standard for global business education.

The publication’s annual survey evaluates executive education programs worldwide based on participant feedback, course design, teaching quality, and facilities. For FAU, the continued top placement underscores its rising influence in Florida’s increasingly competitive professional development ecosystem.

This recognition reflects the caliber of our faculty and the relevance of our curriculum. We’re preparing professionals to lead in South Florida’s booming business and innovation sectors.

said Daniel Gropper, Ph.D., dean of FAU’s College of Business.

Fast-Track Programs for a Fast-Moving Market

Based in Boca Raton, FAU’s Executive Education unit offers more than 60 certificate and development programs designed for working professionals. With flexible options, including weekend bootcamps, night classes, and online formats, the curriculum spans in-demand fields like artificial intelligence, business analytics, and international finance.

The school also recently rolled out three new master’s programs in IT management, supply chain, and analytics, as well as an executive-format Ph.D. in business administration, making FAU the first AACSB accredited school in Florida to offer such a doctoral option.

We’re seeing an influx of professionals who want to pivot, upskill, or lead. As South Florida becomes a hub for corporate relocations, our programs are strategically aligned to meet workforce demands.

said Vegar Wiik, assistant dean of Executive Education.

Corporate Ties and Talent Pipelines

The program’s participants hail from major employers across the region, including JP Morgan, United Healthcare, Memorial Healthcare System, Polen Capital, JM Family Enterprises, NextEra Energy, and American Express.

Through its Edu-Vantage Partner Program, FAU partners directly with corporations like JM Family and NextEra to offer full tuition coverage for employees seeking undergraduate, graduate, or certificate credentials.

We’re not just helping individuals, we’re partnering with companies to future-proof their workforce.

said Vegar Wiik, assistant dean of Executive Education.

More Than Just Coursework

The Executive Education program operates from a 52,000 square-foot facility, hosting corporate training events and conferences, including the Noble Capital Conference, which recently featured former President George W. Bush as a speaker.
